According to mythology, the Amazon women, who were skilful warriors and equestrians, came from the God Ares (the God of War) and the nymph Armonia!
Since they adored Artemis, the Goddess of hunting and free life in nature, all their ritual dances were dedicated to her.
Pictures of Amazons on ancient vase paintings, always show them as beautiful, active, spirited, courageous and brave.
Today the women we call Amazons are characterised by their strength and free spirit. Women who are not afraid to enter the “battle” and throw themselves wholeheartedly into an adventure.
THE JOURNEY
The yacht will be waiting for us in Lavrio port so we can get faster to our destination. In reality though, the place where we will get to know each other and where this journey will begin, is on the island of Kythnos as well as the beach of Kolona. There we will perform our first ritual dedicated to our feminine energy and strength. We will enjoy our dinner and spend the night under the starlit sky.
In the days to follow we will…
…Sail toward Sifnos, a balanced and harmonic cycladic island. Sifnos is an island of exquisite flavours, time-honoured customs and traditional villages. Its numerous chapels, windmills, lovely beaches, crystal clear waters and leisurely pace of life makes this destination ideal to explore.
…Visit 1 to 2 islands daily, some are well known like Mylos and Serifos and some are far off the beaten path like Polyegos and Kimolos. These lesser known islands are the hidden gems of the Aegean Sea with the most authentic beaches and bright turquoise waters.
…Travel for approximately 2 to 4 hours daily where as a team we will learn the basics of sailing like reading the wind, ribs, lines and navigation under the expertise of our captainess. For those who feel like just relaxing this is the perfect setting, on a boat in the open sea with the ultimate sense of freedom.
Our lunches will be served on the yacht where in between our dives and our sea explorations we will learn to make traditional and mediterranean salads as well as light lunches. Our dinners will be enjoyed in picturesque taverns or cosmopolitan restaurants on the islands.
…Taste locally produced wines and spirits on board or in picturesque taverns, drink cocktails with the view of a glorious sunset and even dance in a bar because life needs to be enjoyed. We love Buddha but in Greece we also love Zorba, and like the wise Ancient Greeks were known to say “pan metron ariston” meaning “all in good measure”.
…Swim in exotic looking beaches with turquoise crystal clear water where we will explore the bottom of the sea, observe fish and enter sea caves.
…Practice daily, breathing techniques to maintain our energy flow and balance. As an extra boost we will indulge ourselves with yoga and rituals to align us with our feminine energy and practice these forms in the most beautiful places.
Our journey will be one that has a beginning and end. The ultimate goal is to connect with the element of water, feel the power of the Amazons and share an adventure together.
As the days go by and we connect as a team we will understand the power of letting go and flowing like a wave. When you can feel the magic of the light shining bright upon you, the wind brush up against your skin and the beauty of the endless sea around you it is easy to let go, dare, be inspired and feel renewed.
You will feel rejuvenated, self confident and full of energy, an Amazon!

90% balance of payment no less than 60 days prior to embarkation date
CANCELLATION POLICY
25% penalty for cancellation from 60 – 31 days prior to deprture date.
50% penalty for canellation from 30 – 8 days prior to departure date.
100% penalty for cancellation within 7 days of departure date.
